Fantasy football trade value chart: Week 2

We’re one week into the regular season, and fantasy trades are already flying through left and right. If you’re one of those players looking to make a move, you’re in the right place.

Today marks the release of the Week 2 fantasy football trade value chart. The trade value chart relies on our rest-of-season projections. The dollar amounts assume a 12-team league and a starting lineup of 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE and 1 Flex. The players are displayed in order of their standard league values, but we’ve included the PPR values for those players as well.

If you’re looking for buy-low and sell-high candidates, be sure to check out Mike Tagliere’s weekly article on that exact subject. You can also use this chart to spot risers and fallers.

Below are a few trade questions received on Twitter and answered with the help of the trade value chart.

Frank Gore for Golden Tate in standard leagues? — @Scott2345

According to the trade value chart, Gore is worth $15.6 in standard leagues, and Tate is worth $16.2. In other words, this one is a total toss-up, and it depends on the rest of your roster. If you need a No. 2 wideout — potentially to make up for the Keenan Allen injury — and Gore is going to spend most weeks on your bench, then make this trade. If this trade leaves you without even a semblance of an RB2, don’t do it.

I got Austin, Tavon RAM WR; Year 2017 Round 4 Draft Pick

    I gave up
Hilton, T.Y. IND WR; Year 2017 Round 12 Draft Pick

Good trade or not. I also have Donte Moncrief.

    • Tyler Loechner

I think it depends on what kind of players are available in Round 4.

  • Peter Williams

Why did you make the chart into an image this time? Can you also post it in text form?

    • Tyler Loechner

Thanks for the feedback — been noted! Thanks for reading.

      • Peter Williams

Thanks! Much easier to search through now.

  • Jon Anderson

No way to export this to excel?

    • Tyler Loechner

We’re looking to make it text again next week. Thanks for reading!

Was offered Allen Robinson and Sims for Stewart, Deangelo, and Alshon. With alshon being injury prone, and deangelo benched in 2 weeks i think its a good chance to get robinson for this year and keep him as an 8th round pick for next.. what do you guys think? My Starting Rb’s are L.Murray, S. Ware, Rawls, and C, michaels

    • Tyler Loechner

A-Rob and Alshon are the biggest pieces of this trade, and I prefer Alshon. I also prefer Stewart over Sims. And DeAngelo will be a strong RB1 for two more weeks to help you get off to a fast start. Could always be traded to the Bell owner later. I’m firmly on the Alshon side of this trade.

This chart is brutal to search through. Please return to text.

Thanks for the feedback. We’ll work on it for future versions. Thanks for reading!

Also was just offered Langford for spencer ware and sanu..?

    • Tyler Loechner

Not a big Langford fan, but I’d take that deal. Once Charles is back, Ware will lose a ton of value.

  • Andrew Shada

I have reed up for trade. What would be is value wr or rb wise? Like is he worth like aj green or is it more like moncrief?

    • Tyler Loechner

He’s much, much closer to a Moncrief-type value than a Green.

  • Ryan

Gave up Dez/Melivin Gordon for Jordy/Gore. I think I GM’ed the hell out of this one and that’s a great deal almost regardless of any roster. Can i get some love Tyler?

    • Tyler Loechner

To be honest, I think I like the Dez/Melvin combo more. With that said, both had red flags in Week 1. Dez did virtually nothing without Romo (although he did have a TD called back), and Gordon, despite scoring twice, as seriously out-snapped by Danny Woodhead. Woodhead even saw more rush attempts.

Just lost Keenan Allen, left with Mike Evans, Brandin Cooks, Michael Floyd , and Marvin Jones in a 12 team PPR 20 man roster. I just used my #1 waiver to scoop Tyrell Williams. Should I still make a move to get a WR? My RB is soft since I went ZERO RB but couldn’t pass up Bell’a value going at 12th pick. But I do have Danny Woodhead, Charles Sims, Darren Sproles and LeVeon Bell on the bench, should I trade him for DeAndre Hopkins? But the person would only trade if i trade him along with Michael Floyd for Hopkins and Eddie Lacy. Thanks!

    • Tyler Loechner

I would trade Bell and Floyd for Hopkins and Lacy.

      • Vinnie Suebsirikul

Cool thanks! So you would prefer that line up with Hopkins and Lacy in the mix instead of gambling on Bell to stay healthy?

        • Tyler Loechner

          Yup!

          • Vinnie Suebsirikul

Thanks Tyler! One more question if you don’t mind, what is the WR border line you would trade Bell for?

  • David Hernandez

I was offered Dez Bryant for Latavius Murray; lost Allen wk 1. I’d pull the trigger but feel I’m light in RB. Have Miller, Murray, Gordon, Henry, and Michael. WRs are Robinson, Moncrief, Sharpe, T. Williams, and J. Gordon. Should I pull the trigger?

  • Kellz

    Gurley/Fleener/wr J.Brown for Hyde/Landry/Witten? ppr league.

    • Chandler

      Yes, I would.

  • Matt

I have Dalton and Tyrod as my QBs and wanted an upgrade there. Was thinking of trading Tyrod and Ware for Luck? or could go for Brady? Good trade if the other team bites? I have Freeman, Hyde, Mathews, Crowell, and Forsett as my other RBs. Thanks.

  • Chandler

Should I trade Tevin Coleman and John Brown for Jamal Charles and Coby Fleener
