We’re in the double-digits in weeks for the season! This season has flown by.
We’ve learned a lot since Week 1. Some rather steady fantasy options have emerged and some of them are bargains. For the first time all season, only one of my 11 bargain options is even close to being considered a dart throw. They are all steady performers with incredibly desirable price tags.
That feels oddly refreshing to me, and I hope you’ll feel the same way.
Quarterbacks
Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys (at Pittsburgh)
FanDuel: $7,700 (ninth, tied)
DraftKings: $6,100 (12th)
Yahoo: $33 (eighth, tied)
Last week, the Cowboys played at Cleveland. You can’t ask for an easier matchup, and Prescott delivered. He completed 21 of his 27 pass attempts for 247 yards and three touchdowns. But when you look back at Prescott’s game logs, you’ll see that this kind of excellence is the norm and his price on DraftKings makes him a borderline must-play (at least in cash games). Since Week 2, Prescott has scored 18 or more DraftKings points every single week, regardless of matchup. Over his last four performances he’s thrown nine touchdowns to two interceptions. He’s scoring 0.59 fantasy points per dropback, the third most in the league behind only Tom Brady and Matt Ryan. When you take into consideration the kind of talented fantasy company Prescott keeps, he’s actually a bargain on all the platforms.
