The best defenses to stream in fantasy in Week 2

As the years have gone on, strategies in fantasy football have changed. Whether it’s late-round quarterback, zero running back or any of myriad other strategies, the game is always evolving.

When I started playing fantasy football, everyone drafted a defense, and sometimes two of them. Nowadays, that is rare. Streaming is the new way to play your defense, though some people don’t know how to properly pick them. That’s what we’re here for.

Each week, we’ll have someone here to explain to you who you should be snagging off the waiver wire, and why they are a good play. After seeing a small sample size in Week 1, let’s talk about the defenses you should look to stream in Week 2.

Oakland Raiders

This may surprise some of you, considering the Raiders are coming off a game in which they allowed more than 400 yards passing and four touchdown passes. But keep in mind that they aren’t playing Drew Brees this week; they’re playing the Atlanta Falcons and Matt Ryan.

After being ranked as our No. 25 overall defense in 2014, the Raiders have made tremendous strides on defense, and finished as the No. 11 defense in 2015. Don’t let one bad week on the road against Brees make you think otherwise.

This is a better article than the waste-of-time “waiver wire pickups.” Good advice on the OAK DST.
