If you’re here, congratulations on advancing to another round in your fantasy playoffs. Or who knows, maybe you’re here searching for a defense to use in DFS. Whatever the case, we’re happy to have you. Last week was a difficult one to find top-tier streaming defenses, but fortunately for you, there are a bevy of them available in over 40 percent of leagues as we head into Week 15. So let’s search for our Week 15 version of the Bengals, who were featured last week.

When looking for potential streamers, the ideal strategy is finding those that are home favorites. While that’s not always possible, more tendencies to look for are teams with plenty of offensive turnovers, as well as offensive lines who are playing below average. Taking all of that into consideration, I’ve come up with the following streamers as your top options heading into Week 15.

Houston Texans (vs. Jaguars)

It’s been a strategy that streamers have employed all season — start the defense playing against the Jaguars. More often than not, they go home happy with their decision. Since the Jaguars’ bye in Week 5, they have allowed seven of nine teams to score at least seven fantasy points in standard scoring leagues, including four teams to score at least 11. What’s important, though, is why. The Jaguars (and Blake Bortles, mostly) have turned the ball over 25 times this season, which ranks among the most in the league. While the Texans haven’t forced many turnovers this season, the Jaguars “rise” to the occasion almost every time. On top of that, the Texans boast one of the better pass rushes in football, especially at home where they average 2.5 sacks per game. While the Jaguars offensive line has improved over the last two years, Bortles has still found someone pulling him up off the turf at least two times in 10 of their 13 games, including four times last week. The topper on the cake is that the Texans are at home, where they allow just 17.2 points per game, which ranks ninth in the NFL. When looking for a high-floor streamer, the Texans fit the bill.
