Optimal DFS lineups: Filling in around the bargain locks in FanDuel

Week 1 of the 2016 season is in the books. We learned quite a bit in one week and although I’m not comfortable calling any player an official bust or superstar based on one showing, certain team dynamics and the distribution of playing time gave us a good idea of what’s ahead.

This week I decided to use our DFS Optimizer Tool to create a singular lineup and to plug in bargain players before letting the tool optimize for the highest projected score.
