Week 13 optimal FanDuel lineup: A sneaky TE play

Unlucky number 13…

When I was a kid I used to say that my favorite number was 13 because I felt bad for its seemingly unfair label. I also used to say that orange was my favorite number because no one else would pick it.

Today, I know that inanimate concepts like numbers and colors don’t have feelings, but I still have a soft spot for the number 13 and since my home team is the Denver Broncos, I still rock a lot of orange.

For many, this is the first game of the playoffs, or the last game before. For others, it’s over. The good news is that we live in a time where we can keep playing fantasy on daily platforms.

I put together multiple lineups that I thought were good enough to go in this column. The good plays kept coming. Week 13 looks like a great week to dive farther into DFS. Here’s a FanDuel starter lineup you can tinker with and plug in to start your week off right, luck be damned.

QB: Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons ($8,600)

The Falcons are playing at home against the Kansas City Chiefs, who allow an average of 203.4 receiving yards per game to opposing wide receivers, the most in the league. We saw Jameis Winston throw for 331 yards on them in Week 11. And then we saw Trevor Siemian throw for 368 yards on them in Week 12. And now Ryan gets a crack at those numbers. I believe this will be the week in which Ryan gets back to 20-plus fantasy points per game.
