Rest is a good thing. As Khal Drogo’s bloodriders would say: “It is known.”

Because rest is universally accepted as a positive thing, us fantasy footballers naturally try to apply it to our craft — namely in the DFS arena. We hear it applied to all types of rest received in the NFL: Bye weeks, first-round byes in the playoffs, even playing on Sunday night instead of Sunday afternoon, thus earning a few extra hours of rest before the following game.

Today we wanted to tackle one specific use-case of this narrative: The recently new, weekly Thursday night game.

The narrative: Players perform better after playing on Thursday due to extra rest.
