Flex rankings for Week 4 of the fantasy season

We’re now roughly one-quarter of the way through the fantasy regular season. The rubber is about to meet the road. With Week 4 on the horizon, here’s this week’s edition of the flex rankings:

1. Antonio Brown, PIT (RB1) – Got back on track last week with a 17-target outing. Brown remains the top fantasy play every week.

2. David Johnson, ARI (RB1) – Put up big fantasy points despite a negative game scrip in Week 3. Arizona will continue to lean on Johnson.

3. Le'Veon Bell, PIT (RB2) – He’s baaaack. Bell immediately slots in as a front-end RB1. Sorry DeAngelo Williams owners.

4. A.J. Green, CIN (WR2) – Didn’t put up big fantasy numbers in Week 3, but did see 11 targets. He gets back on track in a big way on Thursday night.

5. Ezekiel Elliott, DAL (RB3) – The two vultured touchdowns weren’t ideal last week, but Elliott’s heavy workload continues to bode positively.

6. Melvin Gordon, SD (RB4) – Salvaged a reasonable fantasy day despite an ugly yards per carry. Gordon remains in the feature role and gets a beaucoup matchup this week.

7. Lamar Miller, HOU (RB5) – Tied for the league lead in carries through the first three weeks of the season. Projects to again see heavy volume against the Titans.

8. Julio Jones, ATL (WR3) – Had a down week, but Jones is still an every-week fantasy starter.

9. C.J. Anderson, DEN (RB6) – Took a back seat to the Broncos passing game in Week 3, but Anderson remains a strong RB1 play.

10. LeGarrette Blount, NE (RB7) – His friends call him LeGary (not really). I call him an RB1. Blount is tied with Miller for the league lead in carries through the first three weeks.

11. Odell Beckham Jr., NYG (WR4) – Faces a tough Vikings defense on Monday night, but there’s no reason to sit Beckham.

12. Allen Robinson, JAC (WR5) – Had just 54 yards in Week 4, but Robinson found the end zone twice. He also gets a great matchup this week against Indy.

13. Mark Ingram, NO (RB8) – Coming off a solid fantasy performance on Monday night despite the Saints getting down. Should see a lot of work against a banged-up Chargers defense.

14. LeSean McCoy, BUF (RB9) – Had a massive Week 3 performance, but gets a tough matchup on the road against the Patriots.

15. DeAndre Hopkins, HOU (WR6) – The Patriots bottled up Hopkins and the Houston passing game in Week 3, but he rebounds this week against Tennessee.
