Flex rankings for Week 13 of the fantasy season

It’s the last week of the fantasy regular season in a lot of leagues. To help you get the edge to push you over the top, here’s this week’s edition of the flex rankings:

(Updated Dec. 2; changes from Wednesday’s rankings in parentheses)

1. (0) Le’Veon Bell, PIT (RB1) — At this point, it really doesn’t matter who he’s facing. Bell is an automatic elite play.

2. (0) David Johnson, ARI (RB2) — The same can be said for Johnson, who is essentially the Cards’ entire offense right now.

3. (0) Antonio Brown, PIT (WR1) — He’s tied with Mike Evans for the league lead in touchdowns (10) and is currently tops among wideouts in PPR scoring.

4. (0) Ezekiel Elliott, DAL (RB3)

5. (0) Julio Jones, ATL (WR2) — Patrick Peterson held him in check last week, but Jones gets back on track in a big way against the Chiefs.

6. (1) Melvin Gordon, SD (RB4) — One of the league’s highest volume players, Gordon is locked in as an every-week RB1.

7. (-1) LeSean McCoy, BUF (RB5) — The thumb injury didn’t seem to bother McCoy, as he ripped off a career-long 75-yard touchdown in Week 12.

8. (0) Mike Evans, TB (WR3) — Evans has emerged as an elite receiver in his third professional season.

9. (0) Jordan Howard, CHI (RB6) — The flow chart play of the week, Howard faces the putrid 49ers run defense.

10. (0) Spencer Ware, KC (RB7) — He hasn’t found the end zone recently, but Ware continues to see healthy workloads in the Chiefs’ backfield.

11. (0) Odell Beckham Jr., NYG (WR4) — Coming off two scores last week, Beckham gets a strong matchup against a weak Steelers secondary.

12. (3) Jordy Nelson, GB (WR5) — Aaron Rodgers’ clear top target, Nelson is a strong WR1 play against the Texans.

13. (7) Matt Forte, NYJ (RB8) — His volume is reducing down the stretch, but Forte is still in play as an RB1 option this week.

14. (-1) Devonta Freeman, ATL (RB9) — Tevin Coleman returned last week, but Freeman maintained the lead back role and found the end zone twice.

15. (-3) Amari Cooper, OAK (WR6) — Last week was ugly for Cooper owners, but he gets things back on track this week.
