Between food and shopping, it can be hard to find time to conduct the necessary research for fantasy football preparations over Thanksgiving weekend. You plan to look through the WR/CB matchup chart, but that after-turkey nap took over. Or you want to explore all our staff’s rankings, but the line at Best Buy was longer than you thought.
That’s where our weekly cheat sheet can come in handy. If you spent all the time in the world researching and reading this week, then you’ve already seen this advice elsewhere. But if the holiday has you pressed for time, this cheat sheet will get you a big chunk of the way to where you need to be. Below, you’ll find five of our top pieces of advice from the week, with links to the pieces the advice is drawn from. After that, you’ll find links to the rest of our season-long content for the week, and from there we move on to our DFS advice. Good luck in Week 12.
Season-long fantasy
Start NY Giants RB Rashad Jennings

Week 11’s successes weren’t a fluke for Jennings; the Giants have made him more of the true lead back for the last few weeks, the same as they did down the home stretch of 2015. He’s responded with 238 total yards and a score over two games. This week, he and the Giants face a Browns defense that have allowed the second-most rushing yards per game and the second-highest yards-per-carry average. Jennings’ strong run could continue.
Sell Tennessee QB Marcus Mariota

Mariota has been one of the league’s best quarterbacks for almost two months now — in fact, he’s No. 1 in fantasy scoring since the start of Week 5. Of course, it’s been an incredibly amenable schedule, as Mariota and the Titans have faced Miami, Cleveland, Jacksonville, San Diego, Green Bay and Indianapolis (twice) in that stretch. Things get tougher from here, as, after a nice-looking matchup this week against Chicago, Mariota’s schedule goes bye, Denver, Kansas City in Weeks 13, 14 and 15. That’s brutal, and could be reflected in his fantasy scoring. If you can still sell on the quarterback, this is a good time for it.
Add Cincinnati WR Tyler Boyd

With A.J. Green sidelined for at least this week and likely more, Boyd should see a bump in usage going forward for Cincinnati. He had six catches on eight targets for 53 yards and his first career touchdown in Week 11 with Green out, and should see a big leap in targets with both Green and pass-catching running back Giovani Bernard out. Boyd’s stock could be rising quickly.
Downgrade Denver RB Devontae Booker

Booker is still the lead back for the Broncos offense, but it’s not been the most consistent road. He has averaged 3.2 yards per carry or less in each of the last three games, still doesn’t have a hundred-yard game and hasn’t scored since October. All that said, with only Kapri Bibbs a threat to his playing time — and not much of a threat at that — Booker is still going to have plenty of work. He’s still a starter because of that, but his inconsistency makes him more of an RB2 or high-end flex.
Stream Philadelphia QB Carson Wentz

Wentz might have struggled a bit of late, but it’s not all his fault, as his 24 dropped passes ranks second only to Matthew Stafford’s total of 27. Wentz had two scores in Week 11 and would have had another if not for a penalty that didn’t affect the play bringing one back. In Week 12, Wentz faces a Packers defense that has given up seven touchdowns in the last two games and 21 on the season. The Packers have the second-worst pass-coverage grade in the league. If there’s a dead-cat-bounce game left for Wentz, it’s Week 12.
