Russell Wilson Rises Like the Phoenix; Doug Baldwin and Tyler Lockett Simply Soar

It comes as little surprise to anyone who follows the analytics-based or evidence-based movement that Tyler Lockett has the talent to be a star. Lockett was the best receiver in the Big 12 last year, and it wasn’t particularly close. It’s more of a surprise that Lockett has seen the volume necessary to make an impact over the season’s second half. While Kevin White has missed his rookie year with an injury, Lockett has picked up where he left off at Kansas State, recording the second best yards per route (yprr) numbers for Week 14 at 4.52.
