Fantasy Coin Toss: McCoy vs Charles

lesean-mccoy-eaglesFantasy football drafts rarely go the way you expect and always seem to leave you with one (if not multiple) tough decisions to make on the fly. This five-part series is designed to help you in those times of panic where you’ve got two players ranked right next to each other but are forced to choose just one of them.

It may not seem like a big deal, as both are players you project to be productive, but this is a game based on maximizing production, and that is what I am here to help you do. I’ve already declared a winner in the Peyton Manning/Aaron Rodgers debate as well as the Andrew Luck/Matthew Stafford matchup. Today, I’ll take a look at LeSean McCoy vs Jamaal Charles, with Keenan Allen/Victor Cruz and Michael Floyd/Golden Tate coming as this series progress throughout the week.

Is it ludicrous to have Charles fourth on my board behind Forte as well?

Slightly, forte only hit double digit TD’s twice in is career, last year and his rookie year. plus Charles is less likely to lose receptions to the wr’s in kc vs forte in chi. though I doubt either have career years again.

The problem I have with Charles is so much turnover on the o line. I don’t think either will lose much production to the receivers because of the lack of personnel change over there (Marshall and Jefferey are still Marshall and Jefferey, and kc only lost mccluster). I like the offense forte is in more than Charles and I like that Chicago has a markedly worse defense meaning they’re going to be throwing more where forte has always excelled
