Welcome to Advanced Targets and our look at the target and pass route data for Week 15. As fantasy leagues head into championship weekend, we'll look at some of the players driving championship teams and locate a handful of disappointments who should bounce back in 2016.

We'll start our investigation with the yards per route leaderboard. Most of the big names produced in the fantasy semifinals, but a group of unheralded and disappointing receivers helped pull numerous upsets last week as well.

The Vertical Receiver Extraordinaire

DeSean Jackson escaped for one of his patented long touchdowns and led the league with 6.65 yards per route (yprr). Having played in only 8 games and ranking 91st in targets (38), Jackson hasn’t been much of a fantasy factor this year, but he’s retained his normal profile even with Kirk Cousins at the helm. Among receivers who meet the 25 percent snap minimum, Jackson ranks seventh in average depth of target (aDOT) at 17.3, third in yards per reception at 18.8, and second in yards per target at 12.8. He’s tied for 19th in run-after-catch per reception (RAC) at 5.8. Only Torrey Smith and Martavis Bryant have better after-catch numbers and sit within 4 yards of his aDOT.
