Eric Decker is a value in Thursday night DFS

If you are a serious fantasy player, chances are you are playing daily fantasy sports (DFS). It is without a doubt the next big thing in the industry and it has created a significant opportunity to make money for those who know what they are doing.

Daily fantasy operates under a budget, so the relative value a player offers at his respective price is just as important as his raw statistical production when constructing lineups. PFF Fantasy offers many great DFS resources. I’ll be focusing on Thursday night games and making sure you get your lineups off to the right start each week.

This week’s matchup between the Jets and Bills has been tabbed with a meager 43.0 point over/under by Las Vegas with a tight spread of 2.5 in favor of New York, meaning that Vegas does not expect either team to score that much. While this mostly makes this game a fade for DFS purposes, there are some nuggets to be mined on certain sites.

Author alludes to a favorable matchup for Jarvis Landry in the DK wide receiver write up, which is simply not the case. He will be matched up much of the day with Malcolm Jenkins for the Eagles, who has been one of the best slot corners in the league by PFF measures. Unless you think Landry is matchup-proof, which may be the case, I would fade him this week.

I think the author likes his match up because Cole Beasley went off in the slot last week against Jenkins. One weak game shouldn’t turn that into a “great” matchup
