Dynasty Stock Market – Week 14

The playoffs have finally arrived in many leagues, and they require a bit of a shift in approach for dynasty owners. For the other 49 weeks of the year, I seek a balance in my consideration of roster construction. Often, I would rather hold a sleeper with little short-term value than a temporary fill-in, even if that could cost me a few points in the worst-case scenario. However, if you reach the playoffs, it is important to remember that titles are the ultimate goal. Sometimes it is necessary to sacrifice players that will be useful in the future in order to increase your odds now, whether by rostering a second defense that has complementary matchups or protecting yourself against clinching teams that could rest their players. A championship in the hand is worth more than two in the bush.

Andre Brown is a FA and with Royster not progressing enough to even be a change of pace back behind Morris, I could definetely see Shannahan nab Briwn who is a cut cut monster. You?
Also, I took the leap to 50 player plus roster dynasty leagues starting full IDP lineups. In the 3 I have different QBs, but all show a great common similarity. Their 1, 2, & 3 in your pts per Dropback. That’s right, I traded 3 1st rnd picks for Newton last year in a complete rebuild, drafted RGIII 4th overall off an injured plagued yet and in my playoff league I traded for Kaepernick mid-season last year. Hoefully your stats above and my view of these guys having the lowest floor for QBs bc of rush yards stays true.

Andre Brown is a restricted free agent, so I would bet that he’s a Giant again in 2013. And I am pretty optimistic about your quarterback fortunes.
