Position fit:

Kicker

Stats to know:

Connected on all four field goal attempts of 50+ yards in 2015.

What he does best:

• Highest-graded kicker on field goals in this draft class at +4.5.

• Four-for-four on field-goal attempts of 50+ yards in 2015, and eight-for-10 over his four-year college career. 80 percent accuracy on kicks of 50+ yards would have been good enough to tie for 10th amongst NFL kickers last year.

• Just one miss from 197 extra-point attempts over his four-year college career.

• Connected on 86.7 percent of field goals in 2015, which would have been good enough to tie for 15th in the NFL last season.

Biggest concerns:

• Inconsistent at times, made just 17 of the 21 field goal attempts at less than 40 yards.

• Longest field goal attempted at Duke was 53 yards. Accuracy-wise, he's fine from 50+, but you'd like to see some bigger kicks to test his range.

Bottom line:

Martin is an interesting kicker prospect because he was actually more accurate on kicks of 40+ yards in 2015 than he was on kicks under that distance. He didn't miss a single kick under 40 yards in 2014, though, and his college resumé should earn him a shot in the NFL.
