Patriots swap picks for TE O'Shaughnessy

  • The Patriots traded the 183rd pick in this weekend’s draft to Kansas City for tight end James O’Shaughnessy and the 216th pick.
  • O’Shaughnessy finished the season with a 52.2 overall grade over 113 total offensive snaps.
  • In 2015, his rookie season, O’Shaughnessy finished with a 65.3 overall grade over 112 offensive snaps.
  • He appeared on offense in 14 games for the Chiefs last season — the most action he saw was 15 snaps in Week 17 against the Chargers.
  • He played extensively on special teams in 2016, seeing at least 60 snaps on each of the kickoff units along with the punt coverage unit.
