Leonard Fournette stiff-armed the competition in his college career

• Many mock drafts have the Jaguars selecting LSU running back Leonard Fournette.
• While the level of competition is certainly not equal to what he’ll face in the NFL, Fournette excelled in forcing missed tackles in his college career.
• In the past three seasons, Jaguars running backs (primarily T.J. Yeldon and 2016 addition Chris Ivory) have combined to elude 111 tackles, compared to 137 by Fournette.
• This includes Fournette's monster 2015 season, where he avoided 85 tackles and ran for 1,094 yards after contact. Jaguars running backs in 2015 forced 42 missed tackles and ran for 617 yards after contact.
• For his collegiate career, Fournette avoided a tackle once every 4.5 rushing attempts. Jaguars running backs in that time forced a missed tackle once every 8.3 rushing attempts.

Fantasy Slant: Fournette is a throwback running back who doesn't quite fit the mold of today's elite fantasy options, including Le'Veon Bell and David Johnson. However, his size and speed are very appealing in the right landing spot. He has the potential to make a significant Year 1 fantasy impact.
