Don't Make These Linebacker Mistakes

Offensive camp battles, especially those involving skill position players, normally get a decent amount of press coverage. Just think about how much you have heard about the Mark Sanchez, Geno Smith battle with the Jets. It is the defensive battles that can often take place in the media shadows. And while offensive cheat sheets are often updated on fantasy sites multiple times a week, defensive sheets on many other sites are often published early and for the most part stay largely unchanged.

To avoid making draft mistakes you should be using our most current IDP rankings, but if you are using one of these sites where you customize your draft by entering in your league settings, beware. I checked out a few of the more prominent sites and found projections that seemingly have not been updated since camps opened. According to how your league is structured, playing a projected defensive starter who ends up playing limited snaps could be the determining factor in why your team starts off 0-2. So, if you are using one of those sites, here are some early IDP linebacker projections who don't look so good upon further review.
