Anderson/Hillman and 4 other RBBC situations to monitor

Leveon Bell joins Jamaal Charles and Arian Foster on the injured reserve, further saturating the running back market, while the release of Joseph Randle cleans up the Cowboy committee.

Houston Texans – Blue leads a gloomy bunch

So much for Alfred Blue’s lack of involvement in the passing game. He caught all five of his targets for 33 yards while continuing to lumber away on the ground, adding 14 carries for 39 yards. Clearly and as expected, Blue is the main back in Houston in lieu of Arian Foster but leaves much to be desired.

His competition is the equally inefficient Chris Polk, who was given a hard look this past Sunday in a sloppy 20-6 victory over the hapless Tennessee Titans. He saw 9 touches on his 15 snaps (60%) but failed to show any pop averaging below 2.5 yards per touch. Jonathan Grimes served as a placeholder, catching 2 of his 3 targets during his 18 snaps for 12 yards .

F**k Jeremy Hill! I’m so tired of hearing about him. Last night, against the leagues worst run D, nothing! Hill is dead to me.

It says this article was posted “two hours ago”. Why then was so much written about Jeremy Hill? Reading this now, we know Hill did virtually nothing YESTERDAY and that while he out-touched Bernard by 2, Bernard “out-yardaged” him

Bottom Line is that Bernard is the better running back. Hill has little burst, limited cutting ability, and isn’t patient enough in the backfield. How many times did he run straight into a tacklers arms last night? Maybe he is pressing, but he does not look anything like the RB from the second half of last season.
