Broncos: Harris Jr. in All-Pro form

PFF-headlinesDenver cornerback Chris Harris Jr. is doing all he can to earn All-Pro honors as part of a much-improved Broncos defense. As the league’s highest-graded CB (+22.8), he leads the league with 0.59 Yards Per Cover Snap for corners with at least 300 snaps.

He’s been very effective sliding over to the slot as well, yielding another league-best mark of 0.66 Yards Per Cover Snap for corners with at least 200 slot snaps.

Adding to his Pro-Bowl resume, Harris Jr. is no slouch getting after the quarterback.  He has the second-highest Pass Rushing Productivity (26.7) for corners with at least 15 rushes. He’s Denver’s best corner blitz option, as the rest of the Broncos CBs have combined for no sacks, hits or hurries on 13 designed rushes.

With Denver’s passing offense slowing down, Harris Jr. is doing his best to keep opposing teams’ passing games in check.
