Heading into the fantasy playoffs, I thought this would be a good time to take a comprehensive look at the tight end position. I’ll be including normal Advanced Targets metrics like targets per snap (TA/SN), targets per route (TA/PR), and pass routes per snap (PR/SN) along with fantasy points per opportunity (PPO), and adjusted depth of target (aDOT). The players are ordered by total fantasy points scored.
Many fantasy rosters don’t have clear cut starters, so hopefully this information will be helpful in making those difficult playoff roster decisions. For many non-playoff dynasty teams, the trade market re-opens immediately upon the season’s conclusion. It’s never too early to start prepping for 2015.
