3 stacks to target on DraftKings

My big recommendation last week was a dud as I was all-in on the Andrew LuckT.Y. Hilton stack and while I nailed their low ownership they didn’t do enough to have my lineups cash in any GPPs. This week, there aren’t a ton of games with high projected totals so rather than focus on a game-by-game basis, I’m going to recommend my favorite stacks and then throw in some individual value plays.

As a reminder, my recommendations are based on PFF’s projected box scores which are an extremely useful tool for Fantasy Gold members.

Note: All prices are from DraftKings.

Top Week 4 stacks

The expensive stackAaron Rodgers ($7,900) with Randall Cobb ($7,400) and/or James Jones ($5,300)

Everyone watched Rodgers put on a clinic on Monday night against a suspect Chiefs secondary and now Rodgers gets to face an even more suspect 49ers secondary. Rodgers is the most expensive quarterback on the board, but his salary is actually $100 less than last week. This week we have him projected for the fifth-most yards (270) and most touchdowns (2.6) for the week.

Pairing him with Cobb, who is projected for nine targets, would account for about 30 percent of your salary and if you wanted to make your lineup a little more unique, adding Jones (projected for 5.8 targets) would bump up the total salary to 44 percent of the budget so you’ll have to go bargain hunting to make this stack work.

George, I somewhat quickly graded your recommendations and the projections associated with them using a scale of +2 to -2 in increments of .5
There was about 20 recs and proj. to grade.
Your best grade of +2 each were the Woodhead and Dalton recommendations. but sadly there was only 2 other positive grades for a grand total of +6.
Your negative total was a sad -18 with OB jr., Julio Jones , fading Freeman and Bennett all getting a negative 2 each.
    Your final score -12
Thankfully I just read this article now…because Freeman and Bennett were very good to me.

Haha I appreciate you keeping me honest – last week was definitely not the week to pay up for the most expensive players as almost all of them disappointed. Hopefully will earn a better grade this week.
