2015 Depth Charts: Washington Redskins

WASNotes

•  We're at the point now where we have to look at Robert Griffin's rookie season, before the injury, as something almost entirely seperate from from the player he is now. He has the talent, but until we see him get back to that level, if he ever does, it's hard to see him as anything other than Below Average.

•  Despite the struggles at quarterback, wide receiver DeSean Jackson remains one of the best deep threats in the league. Averaging 20.9 yards per reception, and 8.5 yards after the catch per reception, his speed is still too much for some defensive backs to handle.

•  Improving as a pass rusher, it's hard not to be impressed by Ryan Kerrigan. Our fourth-highest graded pass rusher amongst 3-4 outside linebackers in 2014, he registered 13 sacks, nine hits and 51 hurries.

Trent Murphy will likely start opposite Kerrigan in 2015, and his rookie seasons showed signs of promise. He may not have stood out as a pass rusher, but he was our sixth-highest graded player at the position against the run.

Team Needs

Right Tackle: Tom Compton struggled in 2014, both as a run blocker and in pass protection, so it would make sense to find someone to help opposite Trent Williams, who heads into his contract year.

Inside Linebacker: Neither starter looked great here in 2014, with Perry Riley grading poorly in coverage and Keenan Robinson poorly against the run. It was Robinson's first season as a starter, and we did have some good games, so they may be inclined to give him more time in the starting lineup, but help is definitely needed here.

Cornerback: The young players at the position haven't panned out yet, with both Bashaud Breeland and David Amerson having their struggles last season. Finding veteran help might be the smart was to go here.
