10 Intriguing Players for the Middle Rounds

Golden Tate Post-Hype SleeperWhile it’s important to execute during the first four rounds of a fantasy draft, there aren’t a lot of obviously bad picks in that range. Conversely, picks after Round 10 have a fairly low expected value. It’s not that occasional league-winning hits don’t occur, but the numbers tend to confirm that waiver wire pickups have a greater impact than late round selections.

If that’s the case, fantasy leagues tend to be won and lost in the middle rounds. Maximizing value in Rounds 5 through 10 is the key to becoming a consistent fantasy winner. With that in mind, I thought it would be fun to take a quick look at a couple intriguing players from each round. These 10 players have been selected because they have advanced splits that jump off the page.
