5 Questions
Five Analysts, Five Questions, Week 11
The Five Questions guys return for another survey of where their football thoughts are landing these days.
Of course, they’ll call out their top performances of the week as always, but this time they’ll also join forces to build a dream defensive front, offer candidates for Play of the Year, and direct your attention to some Turkey Day matchups. Some Tim Tebow fascination makes an appearance too (what would an NFL-centered conversation be these days without it?)
Five Analysts, Five Questions, Week 10
To go along with our favorite question (this week’s top performance), we’ve hit some areas that we’d be interested to hear your opinions about. A player off the radar but on his way, one eyeing the end, and a handful of this-guy-or-that choices. And a division prediction to boot.
You watch the games, you read along and check the stats, so please do chime in and let us know your answers for this week’s questions. Agree with one of our guys? Got one that wasn’t mentioned but should have been? Let us know in the comments section below.
Five Analysts, Five Questions, Week 9
Whether it be an increased workload, or needing to catch their breath after as exciting a week of football as we’ve seen, our analysts took a little bit longer to get their responses in this week.
But they’re here now, with the tough questions being put to Ben Stockwell, Khaled Elsayed, Nathan Jahnke, Neil Hornsby and Sam Monson as we get their thoughts on what is currently going on in the NFL world.
This week we’ve got traditional questions looking at which performances most impressed us, as well as seasonal ones that look into our very own Midseason All-Pro Team. What do our analysts have on their mind? Do you agree? The only way to find out is to get to reading what they’ve all had to say.
Five Analysts, Five Questions, Week 8
Back again for another chance to sit down and pull tidbits of football gold from the minds of our analysis team.
This week, they’ll highlight the best they saw in last week’s action, assemble a dream offensive line, talk Super Bowl bets, and take on a hypothetical involving some stars of the San Francisco defense.
Five Analysts, Five Questions, Week 7
Are we really approaching midseason already? Time flies.
Our analysts have been run ragged (don’t worry, they love it), so this week I’m not going to grill them for detailed reviews or bold predictions. Instead, we’ll step back a bit and mix in some perspective on their PFF experience.
It’s a quick glimpse as always, but with a twist. We’ll get a peek at not only what’s rattling around in their heads football-wise, but also some hints about their parts in this little thing we call Pro Football Focus.
Five Analysts, Five Questions, Week 6
Checking in once again with the analysis team, we get their thoughts on Carson Palmer’s return, on how the NFC East will shake out, what fans in London should look for in this week’s game at Wembley Stadium, and more.
.
As usual, we’ll keep it brief – don’t want to disrupt their groove too much now that we’re in the thick of game review time.

Five Analysts, Five Questions, Week 5
Week 5 is in the books and after an exceptionally long meeting, our analysts feel prepared to provide us with their answers to our five questions of the week.
This week we’re looking at some unheralded rookie displays that warrant more attention, the prospects of records being severely broken, and one play that wowed three of our analysts so much they actually had to agree.
As loathe as they were to.
Here are our five questions of the week. Read the rest of this entry »
Five Analysts, Five Questions, Week 4
It’s brain-pickin’ time again. We’ve gathered the analysts for their weekly sit-down and posed five more questions for them to chime in on.
.
We’re a quarter of the way through the 2011 season already and some solid themes are emerging; some obvious, some less-so. Watching every player on every play of every game over and again, this group has a unique perspective that might veer from what you’ll commonly hear. So stop in, read along, and share your thoughts.

Five Analysts, Five Questions, Week 3
It’s that time again … the cell doors have opened and the analysts have emerged from their weekly game review lock down. They’ll have a few minutes to stretch, get a bite to eat or take a shower (their choice), and answer my questions before being shuffled away to begin their prep for next week.
.
Let’s see what their football-saturated minds have for us in this week’s round of Five Questions:

Five Analysts, Five Questions, Week 2
A second week of data, a better feel for the shape this early season is taking on, and five more questions for our analysts.
.
Which slinging QB would they hitch their passing-game wagon to? Who’s thoughts should be shifting toward Andrew Luck? Who impressed in Week 2 and which marquee Week 3 game excites them the most? Are the super-early MVP and ROY leaders that obvious?
.
C’mon in and sit for a bit as we go around the table.
