Introduction to Value Propositions

When I posted my previous article, the one that is something of a conclusion to my series on discounting future value, I received a very important question. What does the table of auction values actually tell me? The (not-so) short answer is that the 2-year, 3-year, and dynasty prices are my estimations, based on our PFF player projections and the outlined rosters and scoring, of the total value of each player over that time period captured in a risk-and-time-adjusted price. In a way, they are maximum bid suggestions, but not in the way you may think.
